TWO WOMEN IN SCRUBS STEAL DEBIT CARDS
PIO Number: 18-8-3
Date: Aug. 3, 2018
TWO WOMEN IN SCRUBS STEAL DEBIT CARDS-Two women pretending to be in the market for furniture at a Weston store walked away with an employee’s debit cards. They probably didn’t bank on surveillance video capturing them using the purloined cards. Now, Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives hope someone can identify the suspects.
Around 2 p.m. July 12, the purported customers entered L’angolo Furniture & Art, 2209 N. Commerce Parkway. They inquired about the decorative wall mirrors and chairs, and then one of the women asked the clerk to show her cushions. While the salesperson was occupied with her, the other suspect stayed behind looking at the chairs. The employee had left her purse on a shelf by the chairs. After the duo left, the worker noticed that her debit cards and other items were missing from her wallet.
The women were seen on video later that day separately making purchases at a Publix grocery store at 15729 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines.
The suspects were dressed in blue-hued medical scrubs. One of the thieves, who bought a box of baby diapers, wore a long-sleeve white shirt under her top. She had shoulder-length brown hair and sported aviator-style sunglasses.

The other thief had short black hair and wore black and white sneakers.
