BEER THIEF MODELS DANGEROUS BEHAVIOR
BEER THIEF MODELS DANGEROUS BEHAVIOR-The clerk at the 7-Eleven Gas Station located at 4451 Davie Blvd. in Unincorporated Broward got a terrifying surprise when a man pointed a gun at his head in order to steal a case of Modelo beer.
Just after 4:30 a.m. August 16th, while the clerk left the store to throw out some trash, video cameras captured two males walking into the store at approximately the same time.
The first man, who wore a white Henley styled T-shirt, blue jeans and a black baseball cap, walked directly to the beer coolers. He appeared to be struggling to keep an item from sliding down the front of his pants as he walked. He grabbed an 18 pack of beer and made his way to the front door.
As the thief tried to exit the store he was confronted by the clerk. When the clerk told the man that store was closed, the subject pushed him, pulled a gun out of his waistband and pointed it at the clerk. The clerk quickly hid behind the door and the suspect fled on foot.
He is described as a white male, possibly Hispanic, with an athletic build, short dark hair, a goatee and a tattoo on his left upper arm.
The second man stood at the counter and waited. He wore a Jimmy Hendrix T-shirt and ripped jeans. During the robbery, he remained at the store, but fled before deputies arrived. Detectives would like to speak with him.
