WOMAN HAS WALLET STOLEN FROM AA MEETING-AA is Alcoholics Anonymous. You only use first names at meetings so they don’t know her name.
AA vows to respect anonymity, but not when you break the law by stealing from another member.
A woman at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting made a sobering discovery when she got home. Her wallet had been stolen. Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives need help identifying the suspect and, today, are releasing surveillance video of the thief.
The victim was at the meeting on the morning of June 9th in Boca Raton when she recalls taking out her wallet to make a donation. She placed her billfold back in her purse and then put her bag on her chair. That’s when she believes her wallet was taken.
That same day, she learned the suspect had used one of her credit cards to buy more than $800 worth of gift cards at Target at 1200 S. Federal Highway in Deerfield Beach. The female fraudster also charged nearly $900 on the victim’s second credit card at the same store.

The suspect is seen on the surveillance video wearing a white dress shirt and light-colored pants. Her long brownish hair is partly pinned back, away from her face.
