SPIDERMAN FAN ROBS POMPANO 7 ELEVEN
Spiderman Fan Robs Pompano 7 Eleven-Robbery 101-Don’t rob a 7-Eleven!
If you know anyone who has worked at one, you know they never have more than about $35.00 in the register at any given time.
In fact if a manager comes in and finds more in a register, that employee is written up.
The rolled quarters and change come out of a timed safe that can only release the coins about every half hour.
The most they could have gotten was about $50.00.
In Florida committing a felony with a firearm is a ten year sentence.
Ten years for $50.00 split two ways. They could have begged more cash than that in a couple of hours.
We all know however that most thieves are not the brightest bulbs on the tree. Here’s the Sheriff’s press release:
UNIDENTIFIED MALE IN SPIDERMAN HOODIE PROVES TO BE A REAL-LIFE VILLAIN
Broward Sheriff’s Office Robbery unit investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying an armed robber and his hungry accomplice. Just after 3 a.m. April 12, security video captured the two thieves as they entered the 7-Eleven at 12 N. Federal Highway in Pompano Beach.
The first man to enter the store walked away from the registers and began to grab snacks off the shelves. The second man pointed a gun at the clerk almost as soon as he entered. He threw a black bag at the clerk and then made his way to the back of the counter. Once there, he moved the employee to the register and demanded him to put the money in the bag all the while holding the gun against the clerk’s body. As he made his escape he forced the clerk to the ground.
A customer who was standing at the register saw the gunman as he entered. He seemed to immediately realize what was happening and ran quickly past the robber and out of the store.
The gunman wore a black hoodie with a red Spiderman logo on the back and a Spiderman image on the front. He also wore dark pants, dark shoes and dark gloves. His shoplifting accomplice wore a dark hoodie, dark pants and athletic shoes.
The two men fled on foot and got away with cash and food.
